Job Introduction:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll HR Officer to join our friendly, supportive and dynamic team at our St Kilda Road head office. This full time positon will provide assistance and support to Payroll and HR and associated G4S contracts.
Role Responsibility:
Key duties include:
- Processing pay runs on a timely basis in accordance with the relevant industrial instruments.
- Establish and maintenance of various payroll and HR records.
- Assistance in developing, improving, documenting and maintaining the payroll system.
- Processing new starters and terminations.
- Respond to a broad range of payroll needs and requests in a timely, accurate and flexible manner and having the ability to meet deadlines.
- Managing HR invoicing
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful you will have:
- At least 2 years proven end to end payroll experience in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in using Pay Global or similar.
- Sound understanding of HR processes
- Background in Administration in a similar fast paced environment
- Experience in time and attendance systems and electronic file payroll data upload.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Database management experience
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical approach.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity to perform effectively under pressure with solid time management skills.
- An ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and be a team player.
