Job Introduction:

G4S Secure Solutions has a vacancy for a Junior Technician at their Branch in Richardsbay. The Junior Technician will be responsible to provide an expert service relating to the implementation, installation and maintenance of technology contracts and projects.

Role Responsibility:

Effective administration of the technology contract to ensure sound financial performance

Conform and adhere to the profitability of contracts with a focus on records and hours.

Contract Margin administration:

  • Billable hours
  • Job Cards

Coordinate and complete administration for the contract and invoice documentation and ensure accuracy of information.

Effective management of operations

Complete daily tasks with close monitoring of standards and hours of subordinates.

Client retention and customer service levels:

  • Maintenance of positive customer relationships

Quality Management/Ops Process management – adherence to quality standard.

Effective management of business development function

New business development:

  • Identifying new business opportunities in the region’s sphere of operations, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers.

Minimum qualifications and experience

Formal Security Management Training advantageous

Electronic Security Services Management (3 years – Management or similar)

Extensive experience w.r.t. implementation of the following systems:

  • CCTV
  • Access Control
  • Intruder Detection
  • Fire Detection
  • Fire Suppression 

Experience in Sales of Corporate (Large) Projects

Control Room Service experience
