Salary : £28,939.65 per annum

Full-time (40 hours per week)

At HMP Birmingham we are extremely proud of our long history, heritage and the wealth of experience that comes with a prison that has been open since 1849.  HMP Birmingham was also the first ever public sector prison to be transferred into the private sector estate.

The successful candidate will be required to provide support and guidance around the OMIC model and the outputs required within this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of key workers against contractual obligations.
  • Provide support to the key workers and administrators by scheduling regular quality assurance checks on the data input, the interviews conducted and the time taken.
  • Provide assurance to the Senior Management Team in the performance meeting regarding regular updates against contractual obligations
  • Act as a support to the training department ensuring that the key worker training delivery is monitored and quality assured
  • Provide line management, sickness and absence management to the Key Worker Administrators.
  • Be able to provide a daily performance briefing to the Senior Management Morning meeting; including a performance predictor based on current performance what the prison will achieve if this continues for the rest of the month. This includes areas of high or poor performance by wing.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Skills

  • Experience in a custodial environment

 

Desirable Skills

  • Previous management experience
  • Experience of project/ work planning, monitoring and reviewing
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Email & Calendar
