G4S manage the District Court Buildings (DCB) in Perth on behalf of the Department of Attorney General Western Australia. We currently have a number of opportunities for casual Court Security and Custodial Officers to be based at the facility in Perth's CBD.

Role Responsibility:

We provide our employees with a comprehensive training program upon commencement of employment, with ongoing training and support, uniforms and the opportunity for variety, flexibility and the chance to build a career in the custodial and security sector. 

Being a Court Security and Custodial Officer provides a great deal of variety and responsibility throughout several posts within the facility. You may be required to assist with the management and movement of persons in custody throughout the facility, work in the control room and  assist with front of house screening and reception of the court.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience in corrections or the security industry and are looking for career advancement. We are open to hear from candidates from all different backgrounds who can demonstrate a commitment to customer service, exceptional listening and conflict resolution skills, resilience and the willingness to learn. 

As these roles are on a casual basis, we require that you can provide flexible availability for both morning and afternoon shifts. Interested candidates must be willing to undergo our compliance and background checking procedure which includes 5 years’ worth of reference and employment verification, ability to undergo a National Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical Assessment and be ready to commence on the 26th of April 2016.
