Job Introduction:

Role Responsibility:

G4S Secure Solutions is Canada's leading provider of security solutions. Our company specializes in hiring and training security professionals to meet all of our client’s needs. At G4S we have partnered with many major companies in securing, office buildings, commercial properties, warehouses, distributions centers, hospitals, condominiums and residential sites.

Currently we are seeking a Site Manager. The following information outlines the Site Security Manager’s responsibilities as outlined in the post orders and may be amended by client. It is the Site Manager's main function to ensure the on-site security staff comply with all duties outlined in the site post orders and to ensure the security staff act in a proactive manner. Value added service should always be on the mind of the Site Security Manager and he/she should not limit themselves to the specific job at hand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory/Manager Role for site
  • Manager/Supervisor of  Security Staff
  • Responsible for training all new guards.
  • Head of scheduling for your site.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Employment Requirements

  • 5 Years  related experience in a Supervisory role within Security Services industry
  • High school Diploma, Certificates in Law Enforcement
  • Ontario Security License,  First Aid/CPR Certificate

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Good sense of judgement, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to train others based on operating procedures.
  • Manage and lead personnel in a team environment.
  • Sound knowledge of access control functions, basic investigative techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills, excellent oral, written communication skills in both official languages.
  • Effective listening skills
  • Skills and abilities in providing a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Physically fit
  • Ability to motivate immediate team and to generate enthusiasm and commitment in others

Other Related Attributed That Would Enhance Hiring Consideration:

  • Strong work ethics, demonstrated proficiency with software applications including: Excel.
  • Ability to advise and support Security Staff in situations where they are dealing with difficult, unpredictable persons.
