Role Responsibility:

Senior Training Coordinator



24 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Job Outline:

You will be responsible for maintaining a learning management system (LMS) that meets all regulatory compliance needs and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You will act as a support desk to users of the LMS and become an expert point of contact on this system for the Health business. You will be responsible for booking training and liaising with individual sites and external training providers to ensure a smooth deliver of training. You will help support individual sites in obtaining and maintaining training compliance.


  • Maintain a learning management system (LMS) that meets all regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain updated policy database and training records in learning management system.
  • Act as a support desk to users of the LMS and become an expert point of contact for this system
  • Hold training sessions/webinars for team members on the LMS and form part of inductions where practical
  • Liaising with the workforce, trainers, suppliers and external partners
  • Booking training venues and trainers
  • Providing details of courses via email and telephone to managers and sites
  • Responsible for collating feedback post course and developing a strategy for evaluation
  • Ordering and preparation of course materials
  •  Providing reports to management
  • To produce all training compliance information in a timely manner whilst achievin tight deadlines.
  • To maintain staff joiners and leavers are kept up to date.
  • To facilitate all training course invitations and ensure that places are confirmed using the training diary.
  • To record and maintain a data base of training needs
  • Maintain appropriate training records for all training events, ensuring that an electronic and paper based certificate copy are added to personal files.
  • PGD Training e-learning co-ordinated, monitored and logged with certificate and agreement sent and saved.
  • Participate and support in team discussions, renewal of policies and procedures and contribute to projects.
  • Support in the development of policies and procedures
  • Support good, effective working relations with client and key stakeholders (both internal and external) across the business.
  • Ensure that there are adequate supplies available of all required training material such as handouts, manuals, agendas etc.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Skills Required: 

  • Experience of working within a compliance role
  • Able to use and have a good understanding of excel
  • Experience of data input and retrieval
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills – able to plan, prioritise and co- ordinate activities
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and Google suites
  • Appreciation of the requirements around working with personal and sensitive information

Desirable Skills: 

  • Previous experience of managing an LMS
  • Experience of managing IT systems
