As a Field Training Supervisor, you will ensure all personnel under your purview receive the training, supervision, and support necessary to build the requisite skills in providing top-quality service to our client. The supervision / training will be conducted in accordance with the Field Training Policy and Procedure, and relevant federal, state, and local government legislation as well as established contractual specifications and skill sets

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site is performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. personnel assigned to his/her site)
  • Provide top quality supervision and training support, service and materials to Shift Supervisors
  • Use on-line resources via the G4S North America Training Institute and other G4S portal applications as needed to maintain schedules and training entries (as needed)
  • Conduct qualitative analysis of training, staffing and overtime reduction needs and report findings to G4S management
  • Career development management

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet and maintain any applicable State licensing or certification requirements
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • 3 years of experience in conducting training in a security environment
  • 1 year prior lead or supervisory experience in a security environment
  • Must possess a minimum of 1 year verifiable experience in each of the following:
    • Working independently and leading others to common goals and objectives
    • Achieving results in a fast paced collaborative work environment
    • Delivering a work-product indicating attention to detail and problem-solving
    • Meeting the internal goals and objectives of a large complex security organization
    • Using Web technologies for continuing education units and on the job training

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office with minimal work in extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting and walking floor

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching
