Role Responsibility:

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the sales operations function and bid team within G4S Cash UK.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Data Management: manage and evaluate data to determine the effectiveness of a product or campaign.
  • Contract Proposals: create contracts that satisfy both company and customer needs.
  • Application Management: To produce data for the sales team, must oversee the use of various applications and platforms.
  • Sales Forecasting: By recognising past trends, to forecast future sales.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Timely preparation and production of sales reporting and analysis including funnel management and product trends.
  • Territory Definition: outline and define various sales territories.
  • Training: training new and current sales employees.
  • Evaluation and Implementation: evaluating data to ensure the success of a product or implement new sales plan if the evaluation yields unsatisfactory results.
  • Monitoring the sales, customer and market metrics and proactively cascading results: providing detailed support to ensure optimum team support is provided to minimise customer attrition and maximise on growth opportunities.
  • Sales Team Organisation: support the executive team at all times with internal team management, communications and structures.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a Sales Operations Management role essential
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate with senior internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of both complex, high value solution sales environment in addition to high volume, lower value tactical sales
  • Self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
  • Highly analytical with strong administration, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of the SalesForce CRM platform from a training as well as user perspective
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Adaptable with the ability to multi task
