Job Introduction:

The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Manager, Human Resources Systems. As a Manager, Human Resources Systems, you will provide direct support and oversight in the areas of department administration, HR statistics, analytics and reporting.  This position is responsible for the development, implementation and support of all HR related software programs and must be able to communicate and work effectively with the IT staff to ensure that HR/IT projects are implemented based on defined criteria and are completed on-time and within budget.  This position requires the application of technical and analytical skills to support the field offices and management with information requests and must be able to work with internal departments on matters relating to HR data.  This position requires the handling of confidential information for which confidentiality is a nonnegotiable job requirement.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Human Resources system structure to insure the accuracy and currency of all system features and tables
  • Oversee and provide HR help desk support and maintain HR data integrity by making necessary corrections to source information
  • Work closely with outside vendors to provide necessary data interfaces and handle related issues and improvements
  • Develop new analytics to meet upcoming trends and provide senior management with data necessary for new business and employee retention/engagement initiatives
  • Develop and generate reports to support internal needs, government mandates and vendor requirements
  • Proactively assess current systems and interfaces to improve and expand usability and reduce errors
  • Serve as a liaison between the HR staff, Payroll and Information Technology in the implementation of new computer-based systems and applications

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Associate college degree in IT or Human Resources or a closely-related major

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on Human Resources related data
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and system table structure for Human Resources Management Systems in a PeopleSoft environment
  • Must possess a strong background for developing, analyzing, and reporting on detailed HR analytics and data
  • Work history demonstrating a strong mastery of the following:
    • Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and statistics’ generation and comparison programs)
    • Organization skills
    • Ability to integrate multiple data sources, analyze, and manipulate data
    • Project management skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to seek input at appropriate points

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
