Job Introduction:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Support Administrator in our Events Operations team, based in our Manchester office.

Role Responsibility:

The position holder is responsible for supporting and delivering services to a key customer site. The holder will work for the contract manager and alongside the site operations managers to manage our work orders and schedule staff and appropriate site logistics as required by customer demands.

The position holder will develop an understanding of operational demands on site, work with financial elements such as event costing and invoicing. Supporting the management of a large event work force through recruitment, internal and external IT scheduling systems and look to maximize them in work opportunities on site and other parts of the business.

This role will require working evenings and weekends as part of the contracts event calendar in line with the needs of the business

Key responsibilities

  • Understanding the end to end journey of running an event to ensure we always deliver a high quality service to the customer.
  • Establishing and growing customer relationships to ensure complete understanding of customer processes to enable the delivery site safety and security.
  • Understanding the business processes of event delivery through; customer liaising for staff orders, building event costs and schedule, scheduling staff, post event payroll adjustments and invoicing with customer approved purchase order for all events.
  • Working in partnership with operations and business development teams to look for opportunities and support bids for new business to increase the revenue of the Events business.

  • Administration Experience
  • Financial Awareness (Invoicing/Costing Models)
  • Good Communications
  • Good Team Worker
  • Capable of working independently (If Required)
  • 5 years checkable work history
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Preference will be given to candidates who also meet the following:

Ideal Requirements

  • SIA License
  • Background in temp work environment (ideally events)
  • Understanding of work scheduling systems
