Job Introduction:

G4S (Australia) Pty Ltd manage the security services at the Victorian County Court on behalf of the Liberty Group Consortium. Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Security Contract Manager to join us.

Reporting in to the Director of Justice Operations, the Contract Manager will assume responsibility for managing the business and operational requirements of the contract which includes the safety and security of all court services.

Role Responsibility:

Contract Management

  • Leadership, direction and guidance to the security team to ensure alignment with the contractual requirements and G4S values
  • Regular meetings with the customer to analyse and review services as well as capturing and monitoring customer expectations
  • Preparation, review and report on incidents as per contractual requirements
  • Participation in annual service reviews with the customer and all internal and external stakeholders
     

Operations Management

  • Allocation of resources to ensure results are achieved
  • Management of rosters
  • Management of monthly invoicing requirements
  • Review and dissemination of Post Orders and Standing Orders
  • Review and recommendations for improvements of the site Emergency Management Plan, Evacuation Plan and the review and recommendation for improvements on the site’s Operational Policy Manual
  • Attendance and reporting at various committees including the Emergency Management and Security Committee
  • Monthly compliance checks and review of risk assessments and treatment plans

 

Leadership

  • Conducting regular feedback and performance reviews of employees
  • Promoting workplace learning and development to ensure employees are fully skilled and regularly trained to deliver contractual requirements
  • Ensure dissemination of customer expectations and contractual requirements are regularly communicated to the operations team

The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered for this position you must demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications;

  • A Current Victorian Security Licence
  • Minimum Certificate III in Security Operations whereas a Diploma of Security and Risk Management will be highly desirable
  • Minimum Current First Aid Level 2
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within the commercial security sector
  • Previous court security experience would be a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating services and resource allocation to meet customer and client needs
  • Proven commercial acumen which includes the ability to manage budgets and ensure business profitability
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability for negotiation and conflict resolution
