Role Responsibility:

The Billing Administrator is responsible for generating manual and bulk upload spread sheet invoices, credit notes on the G4S Cash Solutions billing system. Provide assistance to Billing Coordinators to investigate discrepancies through to resolution in order to ensure complete, timely and accurate invoicing for chargeable revenue.  Provide administrative assistance and support to the Billing Team in order to deliver a high quality billing service for the Cash Solutions UK business.

  • Responsible for the accuracy of invoicing through input controls, highlighting and resolving discrepancies through to manual invoice generation.
  • Generate manual and bulk invoices and credits in line with billing deadlines
  • Generate rebate credit notes
  • Create service failure and suspended credit notes
  • Ensure accuracy of internal revenue recognition and share allocation to the branches
  • Provide revenue data information as requested by internal and external customers for effective and timely resolution of billing related queries.
  • Assist with billing function to ensure punctual, accurate and complete charging of new and existing Cash Solution customers.
  • Carry out ad hoc projects / tasks relating to revenue as required by the Billing Manager
  • Raise PO request on Ariba on behalf of department
  • Maintain and follow accepted procedures and standards to ensure departmental goals for revenue and services are met
  • Communicate in a professional standard with external and internal customers
  • Ability to interpret operational and customer requirements
  • Maintain and follow accepted procedures and standards to ensure departmental goals for revenue and services are met
  • Build on knowledge and expertise of products with G4S Cash.  How service is undertaken operationally and translated into the data held on the different systems
  • Support the productivity and proficiency of the Billing and Finance departments through the integrity of data inputs
  • Manages company data with the necessary confidentiality
  • Follows company policy on all aspects of security and risk
  • Works with professionalism, adhering to the highest standards of honesty and integrity.  To treat people fairly, with respect, impartiality and consistency
  • Work as part of a team supporting the team objectives and Management directives
  • Part of a team dedicated to uphold the G4S commitment to our customers
  • Proactively target data errors which cause reoccurring billing errors
  • Manage own workload escalating to Team Leader if required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Intermediate level of Excel skills
  • Demonstrable numeric skills and financial accounting
  • Previous experience of billing systems and process
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience within a customer focused environment, possessing excellent communication and customer service skills.
