Antonette Warren, First Shift Supervisor, Tampa, Florida
When Antonette’s husband retired from the Army, the family moved from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Tampa. Once in Tampa, Antonette heard about G4S from a family member who works for G4S Youth Services.
She has been with G4S for six years. Currently, she is the First Shift Supervisor at the Columbus Residential Facility. Antonette is in charge of all the staff assigned to her shift, and oversees the care provided to the young adults residing at the facility.
Her job can be stressful at times, but she has come to love it. “It’s very rewarding to see the kids get better in this facility. It is hard when maybe one of them has a bad day, but that is why we are here … to help them,” Antonette said.
The best advice Antonette can offer to someone wanting to join G4S is to, “Follow the training and always ask for help if there is something you don’t understand … everyone here is very friendly.”
